my grandmother is 79, my grandfather is 86. to them, my parents are still too young to know any better. so you can guess what they think about us grandkids! but this turkey day, i was EXTREMELY surprised when my grandmother FINALLY consented to let me help with our thanksgiving meal of galbi, sushi, and korean-style fried chicken.
i learned how to make california rolls! i also de-boned and de-skinned the chicken. my grandmother was surprised. she even admitted (grudgingly) that i was better than her at de-boninig and de-skinning chicken! what has the world come to?!? beatrice was tired from chasing the dog all day and went to bed early. we trapped her in the exersaucer while we prepared the meal. this is one of the world's greatest inventions.
doesn't everything look yummy? i still can't believe my grandmother let me help make food.
we also went to our first sonics game on friday with ivan, amber & zach:
you know how couples start looking like each other after awhile? i think that's happening to us. i never thought we looked alike before. |
